ArtWave Art Groups & Workshops
ArtWave art groups and workshops provide a safe, creative space that aims to be fun and enjoyable, enabling exploration of a range of art materials & techniques that encourage individual artistic development.
ArtWave also promotes inclusion and person-centred learning, and aims to create a relaxing and friendly therapeutic environment where people can work at their own pace. ArtWave supports the 'arts & health' view by maintaining that creativity can enhance peoples health and wellbeing.
No experience is required to explore personal creativity and those with experience can continue to develop their ideas and skills in artmaking.
ArtWave art groups are also suitable for organisations who provide services for:
- adults experiencing mental health problems
- adults with learning disabilities or autism
- older adults and those experiencing dementia
- physical disability groups
- vulnerable adults experiencing exclusion due to economic or health reasons
- drug or alcohol related issues
- children and/or adolescents
